About Astix

One company for the short hop and the long haul.

Most shippers juggle a courier for local runs, a regional carrier and a broker for cross-country loads. Astix was built so one team can handle all three.

Founded in Oakland

Astix Inc opened its doors at 1423 Broadway in downtown Oakland, minutes from one of the busiest ports on the West Coast.

Local

Same-city first

The work started with fast local deliveries for businesses that couldn't wait for a parcel network.

Nationwide

Then every lane

Customers kept asking for the next city over, then the next state. Today Astix moves freight across the continental United States.

Why shippers stay

Astix vs. the usual way.

With Astix

One dispatcher from quote to proof of delivery
Local, regional and long-haul under one account
Liftgate, residential and appointment fees listed in the quote
One invoice per shipment, BOL and POD in your account

The usual way

A different company for each distance
A call center that hands you off between departments
Accessorial charges that show up after delivery
Paperwork scattered across emails
